Dog Training for Cleveland, TN
If your dog pulls on every walk down the Greenway, melts down at the sight of another dog, or simply does not listen when it counts, you do not need another set of tips off the internet. You need a plan that works and someone to hand the leash back to you with the dog you hoped for. Anvil K9 is a veteran owned, NePoPo Gold Certified board and train, and we work with Cleveland and Bradley County families every week.
Cleveland is a short drive south on I-75 to our facility on Ringgold Road, so your dog trains with us full time and comes home knowing how to behave in the real world, not just in a quiet training room.
Real Behavior Change for Cleveland Dogs
Most Cleveland owners who call us are not looking for a few party tricks. They want to walk past the dogs at Tinsley Park without a scene, sit on a patio off North Ohio Avenue without their dog lunging, and trust their dog around family and visitors at home. That is the kind of change board and train is built for.
Your dog lives and trains with us for the length of the program. We build new habits in the situations that actually matter, then we teach you how to keep them. The result is a dog you can live with, not a dog that only behaves while a trainer is holding the leash.
What Cleveland Owners Are Usually Dealing With
The issues we hear about most from the Cleveland area are the same ones that fill our inbox from across the region: leash pulling that turns a walk on the Cleveland Greenway into a workout you dread, reactivity toward other dogs or people, a dog that knows its name but ignores every command once there is a distraction, jumping on guests and bolting out the door, and rescue dogs that arrived with anxiety and no foundation. None of that means you have a bad dog. It means the dog has never been given clear, consistent structure. That is what we install.
How the Board and Train Works
We run two programs, and the right one depends on your dog’s age. The 3 Week Board and Train is our adult program, for dogs 16 weeks and older. In three weeks we build reliable obedience, loose leash walking, and structured off leash work, and we address behavior problems like reactivity, jumping, escape behavior, and not listening.
The 6 Week Puppy Board and Train is for puppies starting at 12 weeks old. It uses the most important development window to lay a foundation: socialization, foundation obedience, crate and house manners, and impulse control. The rule is age. Adult dogs go through the 3 Week, puppies go through the 6 Week. You can see both side by side on the main Board and Train page, and we will help you decide on a free consultation.
Our method is NePoPo Gold, a balanced approach that combines clear motivation, precise markers, fair and structured consequences, and a release of pressure so the dog learns to make good choices on its own. It is honest, it is consistent, and it holds up outside the training yard.
Lifetime Support, Not a Help Line
When your dog graduates, you are not on your own. Every Anvil K9 family gets lifetime support, because the handoff is the part that makes training last. Before your dog goes home to Cleveland, we walk you through the commands, the tools, and the daily routine in person, and we keep working with you until you can handle your dog with confidence.
Off Leash Around Cleveland
Cleveland has good ground for a well trained dog. The Cleveland and Bradley County Greenway, Tinsley Park, and the trails near the Ocoee are all far more enjoyable when your dog walks calmly and responds off leash. Structured off leash work is part of the 3 Week program, so that loop along the Greenway can become the easy part of your day instead of the hard part.
Pricing and Affirm Financing
The 3 Week adult Board and Train is $3,000. The 6 Week Puppy Board and Train is $6,000. Both include the in person handoff and lifetime support. We know that is a real investment, which is why we offer Affirm financing. Affirm lets you spread the cost over monthly payments, so you can get your dog the training now and pay over time.
Veteran Owned. NePoPo Gold Certified. Trained by the Owner.
Anvil K9 is veteran owned, and your dog is trained by the owner, not handed off to a rotating staff. The NePoPo Gold certification means the method behind your dog’s training is a recognized, structured system, not guesswork. When we tell you what your dog needs and how long it will take, you get a straight answer.
